Frequency Allocation Board Carries out Spectrum Monitoring Activities Across Pakistan

Spectrum monitoring is performed to determine any illegal use, spectrum interference and locations of any such transmitters. It assists in maintaining efficient use of the radio frequency spectrum and to ensure that all national operations conform to the defined conditions set out in the national regulations. Frequency Allocation Board has a number of specialized Fixed and Mobile Monitoring Stations across the country to perform monitoring activities. It has the capability to effectively monitor the frequency spectrum in various frequency bands ranging from 10 kHz to 40 GHz.
